There is a lot to consider if you plan on setting up a Family Sharing account, with or without iCloud storage plans.
Which Apple ID should be used for the “Organizer” role? iCloud: View and change Family Sharing settings will help you understand what the Organizer can see and do.
You may need to modify your child’s birthdate if you used an age older than thirteen and feel you may now benefit from Apple’s parental control abilities.
What happens if the family “Organizer” dies or loses access to the Apple ID or account? This may be a good time to follow Apple Communities Discussion on Family Sharing.
